Solstice
I am salved with the galvanic rhythm
of silent rivers
insubstantial shadow, a night.
The oar is a heart,
untying the mouth of waves
The wind wavers still.
Petaled in a lotus.
I traverse ungrounded
as it fathoms a diffused dusk
a twilight as lucid as oblivion
And somehow if you were not mine,
What I would not have endured?
of silent rivers
insubstantial shadow, a night.
The oar is a heart,
untying the mouth of waves
The wind wavers still.
Petaled in a lotus.
I traverse ungrounded
as it fathoms a diffused dusk
a twilight as lucid as oblivion
And somehow if you were not mine,
What I would not have endured?

Amazing how can emotion evoke such great poetry
Came to this one immediately after reading Interstice. Why is this Solstice? How does this poem paint a picture of culmination?
good poetry!
Hi Abhra - do you still write poems? Most of the works here goes back in 2007. Would love to see your recent works as well.
Beautiful, surreal poems.

Mahua
